Roast Meat Hill Road was one of my regular motorcycle haunts, it’s a really pretty area. The story behind it, at least according to local legend, is that a barn caught fire there in the 1800s or some such era, and all the livestock were trapped inside and died.
Kind of putting a positive spin on a tragedy? Who knows.
