File this under “How come nobody thought of this before? Because it sucks.” Any distance you can handle riding that bike for you can walk in less than 5 minutes.
From the looks of it you can’t coast on that thing either. Nor can you even go very fast, it’s a unicycle with a cheater front wheel.
I don’t think I can express how much I hate this thing. Regular bicycles are awesome, and have remained unchanged at a high level for the last 100 years precisely because they are such a good design.
Curiosity bikes like this chafe me because the inventor obviously hasn’t even ridden a bike in the past X years, yet they are trying to improve upon it.

Awesome comment!
Yeah, but you can’t coast on your feet.

I’ve fixed the post title for you
Unironic LOL, thanks!
1. YES. I too am tired of whacky bike redesigns.
2. Dear Jesse – HEELIES.
#2 – HA!
I own a pair. And I contend that you still can’t.
The only thing this has going for it is that it’s chainless. I have an unfortunate track record of getting shoelaces caught in bike chains…
