Yesterday I got an email at work. The title of this email was:
“F/U on
(company X was a real company, but I am removing the name to protect the innocent)
At first I was shocked. Who did I so anger? I haven’t done anything devious lately. There’s no reason for someone to swear at me in the email title.
Then I was nervous. What if I accidentally trod on someone else’s turf and now they were out to get me?
Then I was determined. Whoever this is, they shouldn’t be treating me like this. I’ll go all the way to the top to see justice!
Then I read the email.
F/U was for “Follow Up”.
