Mr. Rogers rocks my socks. That dude is awesome, in that he’s the only person EVER to express such touchy-feely hippie stuff so constantly and to do it without making me hate him for being such a schmuck. Totally = the man.
I mean, I watched him every day, and look how I turned out: Yeah, imagine me without all that anger-management and good feelings-ridden programming.
It’s funny to me that at that point the mean senator had never heard of his television show. Nowadays, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood is ubiquitous. Weird, huh?
