We have some visitors from China this week, and today I got the pleasure of trying some of their local foods. Specifically “yak beef”. I would give “yak beef” 2 stars. It’s was salty, and a bit overpowering.
I think if I had it more often, I would grow to like it. for now, I’ll chase the beef with a fresh pear.
Speaking of free food. This weekend Wendy’sis having a afree frosty give away. I bet I can eat more free frosty’s tha you can MikeD. I plan on documenting them with a picture of my empty cups.
Actually, I bet you can.
I’m trying to revamp my diet with fruits and vegetables. So if I do happen to hit up wendy’s for the free frosty, I suspect I’d only take one.
BBBOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I had plain yogurt and grape nuts for lunch. It was disgusting.
did they bring the yak meat all the way from China?
Sometimes when i look at your title I see a big mountain with a freaky acid-trip sky. Sometimes I see a big loaf of bread on tin foil.
yes, the yak was brought from China. But it wasn’t like a Yak burger. it was more like beef jerky. really salty, very preserved.
Know what’s good? Plain yogurt with honey nut cheerios.
I would eat that all the time if I weren’t a ravenous, blood-thirsty carnivore.
ah, the yak jerky makes more sense. i was thinking raw meat, and then i was thinking customs, and then i was thinking smuggling, and then i was thinking that mike d. was getting caught up in some international black market ungulate meat transaction.
Honey nut cheerios, eh? Great suggestion -thanks!
