Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving dear readers!!

Let us celebrate this Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday with a wealth of wamrth.

With Dessert!

For Thanksgiving, my family zipped out to Cape Cod to celebrate in the warmth of our cape house. I love fall and winter on Cape Cod. All the touristy mayhem is replaced with warm fires and quality family time. We figured the wood stove would be a perfect backdrop for Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday. I am wearing a GoodWill special. Check out those jagged fulfilling sweater diamonds. Also, that dessert I’m holding? Get excited. We’ll feature that beast on the site tomorrow.

Next up, Theresa!

Treesa!

My sister Theresa joins us this week. She looks warm and comfortable. Please note the wealth of quilts in the background. My mom likes to quilt.

SiSi is back!

Wow!

Wow! SiSi took Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday to a whole new level! I love the boots SiSi! And the warmth of your scarfesque neckline is fanstastic!

Another first for Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday: Cats in Sweaters.

Google!

Popsicle!

Colleen sent in those beautifully sweatered cats!

Colleen sweatered in pink warmth with Google!

Colleen, that sweater looks extremely warm and comfortable. So too does that chair. Dang. Way to maximize the comfort this Thanksgiving!

Update: More Sweaters!!

Firstly, Erin submitted a picture of Popsicle with Molly.

Molly (and popsicle)

Wow Molly, way to rock that color. It compliments the auburn tones of your hair quite well.

Erin joins us! She’s sitting on the same chair that Colleen was. I am plagued with dejavu.

Erin in Forest tones

Erin, nice colors! I love that green underlayer. I think I need to pull more greens into my sweater collection. It’s a reliable go-to.

Next up we have a Sweater Thursday first timer – another Mike D in fact!

The Other Mike D.

Mike’s submittal, like SiSi’s, is especially themed. Mike is actually wearing a Thermal underneath his sweater. I am impressed.

Eileen and Tavis decided to outclass the rest of us this week:

Eileen with knotted sweater and pearls

Argyle with a sharp collar and glass o wine

Dang guys. If the fashion wasn’t enough, the choice to photograph in front of purple wall was bold and effective. Bravo!

Updated again!

Sander joins us for the first time this season with his Dad

Sander and Dad Sander!

This picture screams Thanksgiving: warm sweaters, fire in the background, food on the stove. Thanks for participating! Also, Dad Sander’s sweater is fantastic.

The Other Mike D sent in a second picture after seeing today’s updates. Apparently his family’s dog Daisy is also sporting a sweater on this fine Thermal Thursday.

What a great Thanksgiving Thermal Thursday!

The sweater Google and Popsicle wore was a special treat for this week only. They aren’t a fan of wearing clothes, nor am I a fan of dressing up animals.

But yes Mike- comfy sweater and an extremely comfortable chair. I like to maximize comfort whenever possible!

Haha, after seeing all of the Ellsworth animals, I was pressured into submitting a picture of my dog running around in her sweater. She’s so sad when we take it off her. So exciting though to be part of sweater Thursday!

Hahahaa 1) I love that you named yourself “Other Mike D” 2) Our animals get sad when we put sweaters on them. Daisy rocked the sweater though, looked like a total natural, so I am not surprised that she gets sad when you remove it.
