Wow there’s a lot of stuff going on right now. Firstly, I suppose I should address the snow storm we got last weekend. Somehow people started calling this storm Alfred – I’m not sure how I feel about this. Sure we name Hurricanes but naming winter storms in a similar fashion to hurricanes almost seems like an injustice against the power of a hurricane.
As completely opposing evidence to that last statement, here are some pictures that show some of the devastation in CT caused by our October snow.

The House of Rock lost power on the Saturday night of the storm and regained power the following Friday night. 6 mighty days without power. Annoying? Yes.
Thankfully, roommate Brian was awesome enough to snag a generator from his workplace so that we could at least have some semblance of energy during the outage. Still, pretty frustrating/expensive times for the state of CT. Hopefully we can get this state all up and orderly again soon.
Glad you guys got power! We’re likely not going to get restored until Tuesday and we’re on a well so we don’t even have water. :(
Darn you Alfred!
Gah!! Miserable!!!
Good luck! Hopefully power is fast approaching for you!
We got it finally last night! Woo hoo!
