Oh man. I am not feeling well at all. I flew out to Ohio on Saturday night with the feelings of a mild cold. Yesterday, those feelings amplified a bit into a pretty sizable cold. Heeding my mom’s advice, I went here and tried to follow some of the suggestions. First, I tried to humidify my hotel room a bit by turning the shower on. Then, I went out and got a whole ton of beverages. Finally, I ordered a pint of hot and spicy soup and a pint of won ton soup from a local Chinese place. I felt a little better after taking these precautions, but still decided to go to bed around 8. The night was restless, but overall not too bad.

Unfortunately, the cold moved from my nose into my lungs. I can breath again, but the breaths are interrupted by fits of painful coughing. Not fun!

The really annoying factor is the added bonus of being in Ohio. I can’t really take days off from work when the customer needs my help. So this morning I’ll head into the factory. Hopefully the work won’t require too much manual labor – I need some healing time before Ukraine (Saturday).

Dude. If you’re going to get pneumonia, the best place to be is actually AT Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. They are awesome about it. Of course the medicine tastes terrible, but at that point you’re too sick to care very much. Hope you feel better soon.
