    I also think it’s “a cappella” (two words, two p’s) meaning “at chapel” or “from chapel” sometimes taken as “from choir”. On the other hand, “a capella” means “from hair” and “acapella” claims to be the inventor of the spherical horn: http://www.acapella.de/german/
