I have returned from Texas. Things are mild mayhem.
Last night I silk screened the first batch of the breakfast squad t-shirts. They came out pretty awesome. This morning we had our company breakfast and enjoyed every type of foodstuff you can imagine. The T-shirts were a big hit.
Now I’m just trying to get back in business with the piles of work that have collected since my departure.
How are you guys doing?
Stressful! Work is crazy, Tom and I are the process of looking at apartments and applying for apartments and moving and it sucks!
Glad you returned from Texas safely, good luck catching up on work.
I got a bunch of paint pens, and have been practicing drawing awesome stuff. Once said stuff has achieved a desired level of awesomeness, I’ll start painting my kiteboards and perhaps my longboard.
I’m good but I do have a predicament. I have an EEG 2 mondays from now. Its a sleeping EEG so the doctors want me to stay awake 48 hrs before the exam… WITHOUT THE AID OF CAFFIENE!!!! How does one accomplish such a feat besides hiring an annoying kid to follow me around all day?
Halo….lots and lots of Halo.
Woah! That’s crazy! How can anyone possibly do that? I would say drink lots of water and don’t eat very much. Keep your house warm and maybe stare at a computer screen when you’re sleepy because the bright screen will mess with your circadian rhythms.
I’d say keep your house cold because you are more likely to be comfortable and cozy and fall asleep if the temperature is warmer than if you are shivering or even slightly uncomfortably cool.
My other suggestion to keep yourself awake…watch a lot of scary movies.
True about being uncomfortable… but when your body’s temp drops, you become sleepy. Maybe a happy medium?
Agreed, avoiding hypothermia is a good plan of action as well.
Exercise is good too. Hard to fall asleep when you are running (though some have).
Oooh! new apartment! That’s awesome!
We will need to get together for cooking excitement soon. I have to show you that new “Essential Asian” cookbook I got.
can we paint the nissan with said markers?
Next week is midterms, fortunately I have only one, and the week after that is Spring break already! Then two more months and I’m out of school!
Work at admissions has been going well – lots of seniors in high school are on their February breaks and are coming to tour schools. I’ve been marketing clark like crazy – I even received a letter from a prospective student named David thanking me and my fellow greeter Ryan for making “the typically dull experience of waiting in the lobby positive and informative”. (my job as a greeter entails chatting up prospective students as they wait in the lobby for tours or interviews – a type of viral marketing campaign)
It’s really doable. 36 hours is actually pretty easy, even.
Step 1: Get hired by my workplace.
Step 2: Eventually something will break in the middle of nowhere, and before you know it you’ll be 48 hours into the bag.
Only if you buy me more to replace all the ones we use up…
Every 17 years or so, my cicadian rhythms get all messed up.
