This summer Tom and I were out to see a movie and some mars sci-fi movie trailer came on and it was all mysterious about who was coming and what was happening, as a joke I turned to Tom and said something along the lines of “Transformer Invasion!” Then in the next couple of trailer scenes it became apparent that it was actually a trailer for the real Transformers movie, it was hilarious.
My coworker, Gary, is obsessed with Transformers. His collection currently is at 1671 transformers. He has every single transformer ever made in the United States. I’ve seen it, it’s amazing!! Here is a link to some pictures: http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y281/garyscollection/
For anyone interested, there’s going to be a transformer convention in Pawtucket, RI (at Hasbro) this summer!!
I know way more about transformers then I ever thought I would know or care to know! :P
Although the bit where the helicopter sneaks into the base and then transforms is a rip off of The Returner (which is itself something of a rip off of Transformers I guess so I’ll let it go).
Is the website going to be compatable with IE again? I keep forgetting to check at the bottom of the page for sidebar updates. I can upgrade my browser at home, but I usually read blogs at work and I can’t change it there.

They used to “trail” the featured films.
Things were completely backwards back then… they showed the credits before the feature too.

One of these days I’m gonna have high-speed. Til then I’ll pout.
hopefully its not cheesy, I can see a movie like that getting cheesy, maybe because the director is French

Most of the time the website will be IE friendly. we’ll only get into trouble when there are large pictures being posted.
I’ll do my best to keep the pictures appropriately sized.
Damn! Your friend has all the seasons of Star Trek: TNG and Voyager! I’m so jealous!
Little known fact: French directors allow the movie reels to age in caves for a period of a few months, giving rise to their distinctive blue veining.
