Humidity running is like death. What sort of orienteering events? What is that one type of hiking where you are above 6000ft? I can’t get the name out. High country hiking? If I lived in Colorado I’d be climbing every day.
Keep us updated on how your running goes. It’s always interesting to hear about another runner’s running stories! Do you run trails or just on the road?
This, the “Who’s chasing you?” and the “Run, Forrest, run!” are the three most hated comments by runners everywhere. They rival the “Get a haircut? No, I got them all cut” joke as far as groan-inducing goes.
Tell me about it. My dad doesn’t usually come to my races (too many) but everytime he does, without fail, he says “Run, Forest, Run!” to me as the remaining runners finish. I wonder if he ever said that when I finished…At least I’ll never know.
Hey, I think it’s great that you started running again.
Thanks!
It was good to get back outside. Though this morning was a humid one here in CT.
I don’t like running. But, I’m logging so many high-mile orienteering events this summer, that I’m getting better at it.
I can’t image running in lots of humidity. Yuck. Bonus point for you.

You know what…I thought I felt an Earthquake on friday. But now I know the truth!

Sounds interesting. I’ll look at it the next time I wonder why I got online (that usually happens 30 minutes after I get on).
