My husband works in an electric motor factory and he can remember all sorts of part numbers with about 9 digits and some letters.
There’s a good chance I would hate your husband out of jealousy. I can barely remember my phone number.
Yeah, i’m the same way, Jes. I buy pneumatic components all the time for my job and I have half their library memorized from buying so much stuff. Plus, SMC has a pretty solid system in regards to their part number naming scheme, so, once you know it well enough, you can actually figure out what everything means and why.
I can’t remember my own phone number (well I can remember home one, but not the mobile I’ve had for nearly a year). My memory is awful.
Bill is amazing indeed. Remember when he was working the stockroom? I think Ttool could pay him more than the president, move him back to stock, and still save money just from the number of hours he saves people from wrangling with the MRP.
Brilliant though my husband may be, he has trouble remembering his cell phone number. Granted, he never needs it. He doesn’t ever call himself.
