Friday night my sister Theresa visited and we teamed up to host a dinner party for some family friends. The feast consisted of a vast array of dishes including:
Strawberry walnut salad
Egg drop soup
Bread, cheese, and crackers
Ginger scallion noodles
Beef and Broccoli
Cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies
Great food, great company, great times. The House of Rock truly was rocking.
Saturday and Sunday mostly consisted of yardwork. I got the two secondary driveways clear of debris, mowed and weedwhacked the lawn with Thomas’ help, and took out most of the unwanted brush. The yard looks a lot better. Given a few more weekends, I think it could start looking great. Now, we need a grill.
