I’ve finally uploaded the pictures I took from North Carolina. Today I’m posting the pictures from Pilot Mountain. There was a heavy blanket of fog covering the mountain which really adds a feeling of mystery to the photos.
This photo shows pilot mountain. The rock outcropping was formed from an old school volcano where the loose rock that normally forms the cone wore away leaving a pillar of volcanic rock.
Unfortunately rockclimbing is prohibited here for reasons unknown. It’s a shame, because this would be fun.
Notice the rock on the right and how bulbous it looks.
Bonsai tree?
I think after 15 years, the bonsai tree planted by Mr. Miagi and Daniel-San would have grown to those proportions.
MikeD. I have added your website to my “hotlist”. I will never miss another MSPaint contest again!
SWEET! I am honored to have the praised eyes of wizzo fall upon my humble words.
