I was telling Jesse and Katie Caperton (shorthand KTC) that I had invited my friend Katie Doherty (shorthand KTD) to come climbing. Jesse then pointed out that with the addition of KTCaperton and KTDoherty we now know a KTA, KTB, KTC, and KTD.
I also know a KTF and KTY. Jesse knows a KTM.
I think with the help of the internet we can pull a full alphabet of Katies. Then, we will have a party. And all the katies will have to wear their respective letters.
we are also considering “Kates” as valid entries… unless there are any Kates that are specifically opposed to the nickname Katie.
p.s. The KTF is getting married soon and I don’t remember her fiance’s last name, so we may have to rush with the party. Send in your contributions via the comment board!
if this counts it barely counts, katherine zeta-jones, could double count as KTZ and KTJ, but i bet it would be tough to get her to come to the party.
I suspect that the Z and J will both be hard to get. we’ll have to see if we find any alternatives. Otherwise our favorite Catherine Zeta will be getting an invitation to the coolest party ever. Good call shamus.
Just to let you know that you now know someone of the initials KTR, who will attend the party with bells and whistles on, as well as the letters “KTR.”

Woo! thanks KTR! 8 down! 18 to go!
Keep ’em comin’.
I know a Katie Peek from college, a Kate Huff from high school and my 6th grade teacher was Katie Sharon. Oh yeah! I also know a Katie Wayman from high school, but I think she got married to someone with a lastname that starts with a C.
My sister would be a Katie K, as would one of the girls in the choir. I also worked with a Katie G this summer.
