Tanglewood.
Jill and I went to Tanglewood last night. Josh Groban was there.
he was pretty deece. Good voice, though I must admit, I wasn’t screaming his name like 90% of the 15000 women in attendance were.
Really though, we couldn’t have asked for a better night at Tanglewood. The weather was perfect, and it was Hollywood night. So, John Williams was conducting all sorts of hollywood hits. Including none other than the Star Trek theme, which, when you hear it performed live as you stare into the starry sky, is quite a phenomenon.
Have you ever listened to “You Raise Me Up” by this guy? 100% tacky untalented junk, but for the semi-operatic voice. I’d rather listen to the Beatles.
This may be another contributing factor to my single status…
that is a wonderful song, except when he sang at the greek-it wasnt all that great, but, still, its a beautiful and wonderful song

he’s like a puppy dog in this respect. Just say “No” sternly when he’s wrong, but praise him lots when he does something good. Eventually he’ll get it.

This may be the first time I’ve ever agreed with Sander, but I think this Josh Groban character is a bum.
Regardless of whether he is, or is not, a bum. I think it’s unfair to claim that he has no talent. Talent is, by definition, a special ability or gift. I challenge anyone to argue that Mr. Groban does not have a unique ability to sing extraordinarily well.
he may sing songs that we don’t like, however, his voice is one that deserves recognition.
Kinda like me and Mike have a talent for Mayhem. No-one likes our talent, but who can deny the pure genius of our daring rescue of Natalie, and Operation Guardian Shield.

True…perhaps he does have talent. But so does Neil Diamond, but I’d never shell out $285 to see him. Mike D, the king of cheap, I’m just stunned you went to see him.

well, actually josh was only a minor part of the Tanglewood experience. And he wasn’t the driving factor to my attendance. In fact, Tanglewood is a wonderfully cultural experience. Tanglewood is the summer residence spot for the BSO (boston symph orch) and is a beautiful place for music. Jill and I went for a delightful picnic and music under the stars. It was awesome.
That, and jill bought the tickets.
I’m surprised that the Cakeler didn’t come and ruin all your fun.

josh groban is an amazing guy! i cant believe anyone would say anything wrong about him, he has a wonderful talent and his music is inspiring!
