This is probably a ‘you had to be there’ sort of story. But… whatever.
There’s a guy working here at the Holiday Inn who acts a lot like the James Franco character in the movie Pineapple Express (if you haven’t seen the film, I don’t recommend it). Every day this guy is in the breakfast bar area, and he’s pretty much hilarious.
Today as I walked in he said “You’re running a little late today dude.”
Not a funny statement in itself, but really, anything that that guy says seems funny to me. And the fact that he’s learned what time I come to breakfast in the morning is half funny/half depressing.
