Skyline!

Firstly, a huge thank you to those of you who have provided input into my car search. I’m going to include some of your recommendations into my test drives. The unfortunate side effect of this is that it’s going take me a little longer than I’d hoped before I’ll be able to take the plunge. But hopefully a decision will be made within the next two weeks.

And now per Adam’s request, here’s a Skyline challenge.

Where am I?

And I figured with all the hot weather we’ve been having , it might be fun to have a satellite image with some snowfall. Here goes:

I am very happy to see another skyline challenge, except I am not really any good at them. No idea on the satellite, and my guess is Pittsburgh for the skyline.

Nay on Pittsburgh. Though with their plethora of bridges it is an excellent guess!

I call shenanigans on that Skyline! You aren’t there! Or at least not behind the camera, that picture is not listing severely to the left!

Annoyingly, you are completely correct (blast my photography incompetence!).

I didn’t take this picture, it was submitted to me by a family member.

How did you figure this out Sander? This was not easy.

There was a taco cart on one side of that bridge. Sander went there once, and the guy was able to retire off the profits.

    This is actually pretty close.
Turns out that Tennessee, Nashville in particular, is FAMOUS for its BBQ Possum. Thanks to the delectable marsupial’s slow-cooked fall-off-the-bone goodness, and a certain vendor’s secret recipe for the best sauce you’ll ever have on any varmit, located just outside the downtown area, this image is actually burned into my brain. If Mike D hadn’t been recently relocated to a floor above me, he’d have heard me yell, as a nearly involuntary response to this skyline, “Jimbob’s Awesome Possum!!!” in the middle of the workday.
