Fun fact for the formatting fans

I’ve been using this guy for a long time:

If you want to mirror formatting between different elements in Microsoft products like Word and Powerpoint, you can highlight the text you like, hit this paintbrush, and then highlight the new item and it will match all the formatting.

But only recently did I learn that if you DOUBLE CLICK on the icon, you will get a sustained version of the same brush.

I am so surprised that I didn’t know this already.

Also a fan of the paintbrush. Did not know of the doubleclick. You just saved me approximately 3 minutes a week of formatting time (or approximately two and a half hours a year).

We just had to upgrade to office 2007 at work and my cubicle neighbor can not stop talking about how much she LOVES the paintbrush (not sure if the old version had paintbrush but she didn’t find out about until the upgrade). Somehow all the paintbrush love is really annoying me making me resistant to ever touching the stupid button. But I’m also still in denial about being forced to upgrade to 2007.

Embrace the available tools Mykal! Self punishing vindictive thought led me to years without a rice cooker. And now look where I am!! Perfect rice every time!!!
