Cuff Links

I recently purchased 20 pairs of cuff link blanks.

The goal here is to craft these little guys into epic emblems of individuality – little accents of irreverence to be worn by an otherwise tied, pressed, and primmed Mike D.  The three pairs that I already own are:  Rockstar insignia, Scrabble Pieces, and Veloceraptors (link to pics).  The top of my new blanks are 10mm in diameter, so I have plenty of room to glue fun tops that surpass the awesomeness of my purchased french cuff frills.

Example Cuff Link Blank

With the help of a few friends, I’ve come up with the following ideas:

Tiny cupcakes
Guitar Picks
Tiny Battle Star Galactica Raptors (spaceships)
Circuit boards
Legos
Tiny Nintendo Controllers
Typewriter letters
Tiny gears and/or mechanical linkages

Do you have any recommendations?

How about just two granite rocks for climbing(granite somehow seems like a good climbing rock).

      Was there a GRSIOGR logo?

These are good ideas. Individual planets would be especially sweet I think!

I totally meant the Battlestar Galactica Viper by the way. not the raptor.

Not something that you should make, but a way that you could carve it:

scratch in your design with a sharp pointy piece of metal. Then rub Silver Black into the entire front of the cufflink, then polish it off. Scrimshaw!!
