Adam E spotted!

Yesterday between meetings at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I ran into the one and only Adam E. Random sightings of MikeDiDonato.com readers are rare so we used the opportunity to take a photo with Adam’s sweet iphone.

Things at WPI are pretty good. The school just scored business week’s #1 part-time MBA program award. Go WPI! Also, what the heck RPI? I just got my MBA with you and you’re not even in the top 50 – actually upon closer inspection it looks like you were not considered. I wonder why that is.

In any case, it was great to see you Adam. It’s good to know that you have WPI under control.

In other news…

The House of Rock garage is currently getting an overhaul. The floor has been jackhammered to pieces, removed, and replaced with stone bits which will soon be covered with concrete for a beautiful new floor. The plan is that for the days prior to Thanksgiving Dad D is going to come down to CT and we’re going to do some sweet renovations in the garage that will finally make it a place that demands extreme man respect.

You do realize of course that once the garage is fit for a king, it must be used like it. You’re going to have to fill it with the most righteous tool display known to man… and then build something BIG.

I think you know this already, but for the rest of MikeDiDonato.com readership… there’s a rumor that, to start, I may be getting an engine hoist.

    Awesome!

Engine hoist? Please. You need a full-size overhead gantry.

Also, how are you going to seal the floor?

I think you should have them redo the entire driveway. Concrete driveway with hot water pipes running through them….turn them on when you wake up and when your ready to leave for work, no more snow on driveway! It would be sick!

I think the garage should be outfitted a la King of Queens. The garage’s feng shui should be centered around an early ’90s big screen TV.
