This BBC quiz provides us with a test to see if we’re getting enough sleep. It requires two five minute breaks, during which I listened to rock tunes and perused the 100 greatest guitar solos of all time.
Despite the fact that I really think I’m not getting remotely enough sleep I did pretty well.
My scores were: Recog 100, Tempor 87 (missed 3)

Hmm, I got 87 and 90, but that makes sense what with me being exhausted (since it’s 2am)… Interestingly, I got all of the ones from test 1 and the “never seen” ones right, and I missed four in group two.
79 and 73. Finally, documented proof of me being terrible at remembering if I’ve met someone.
I got 95 and 91. I get plenty of sleep so the test seems to reflect that well. I’ve always enjoyed getting a good nights sleep though, it helps me stay happy.
I also got 95 and 91, but unlike Mykal, I don’t feel like I get plenty of sleep.
87 and 66. Of course, I was up a little before 3:30 this morning.

96% on both. But the guidelines were not followed in that after viewing the first set of photos I had to leave unexpectedly for about an hour. So then after the second set I just went right on to the “test” part without waiting the five minutes, so I don’t know how that messes things up….
My recognition was 100% but temporal memory was a horrible 70%, but they say it’s still above average (68%). But I am well aware that I don’t sleep very much in general. At least I’m average!
Recognition and temporal both 95%. I know I don’t get much sleep though, so this was probably a fluke (or I have a weird keen memory for faces).
