A Car of Fun

I am extremely excited about my guitar lesson tonight. As I mentioned in the comments section of my Guitar teacher post the other day, Tony Guitar agreed to accept me as a student. I haven’t been this excited for awhile. I think part of the glee is coming from starting up a new self-improvement class. After I got my MBA degree I got a wee bit depressed. I felt like my whole life had been spent trying to improve myself and now suddenly I was stagnant. The leveling off of education gave me a pre-midlife crisis. I was having trouble falling asleep and felt kinda fatalistic.

Stagnant no more! The lessons begin tonight at 5pm.

Because of the distant location of Tony Guitar’s studio, I decided to try and combine this trip with a trip to my kung fu academy. It’s on the way home and would help make my driving more efficient. This morning, to prepare for my intense day, I loaded my up car with my guitars and my kung fu gear. Resting on the seats already were my disc golf discs and my climbing gear. I realized that this car pretty much has all my fun activities inside it. On one hand, if it were stolen I’d be pretty bummed out. On the other hand, at any point today I am ready for all things fun.

What an attentive reader! The post is still in the works. I’ll see if I can get something up within the next few days.

But, to answer your question it’s a ’98 Mazda Protege.

I like cars, so when you said you got a new car, I was wondering what it was. My first two cars were Mazdas. I had an ’88 MX-6 and an ’00 Protege.
