My friends Harry & the Potters used Zubbles at their shows. They said they were awesome!

Ordered! I’ve been waiting for these since I learned about them in ’05.

Here’s my question: When they pop, do they leave the color as a residue behind?

Excellent question. As I understand it, this was a major difficulty in the design of the bubble. I think they ended up going with a cubic shaped colored molecule. When it’s in bubble form it doesn’t let light pass through. Once it pops on a surface a thin film of color remains, but if you just rub it a little bit the cubes collapse and the thinner molecular structure DOES allow light through.

So I think yes, they leave a residue upon landing – but that the colored residue can be very easily made to disappear by rubbing the spot.
