Watch Me v2.0

Friends!

I am a big fan of watches. I have two at the moment, one is a nice business attire brown and the other is a fun red pop-art watch.

The red/black pop-art watch has the color tones to go with black attire, however it’s more of a fun playful watch than it is a board-room meeting watch. So I’m in the market for a new watch that is black, stylish, and atypical. Sarah found a great website that displays a wealth of funky watches – some of which are really off the wall.

Examples:
1.creepy
2. hilarious
3.robot-ish

After traversing the site for a bit we found these two winners.

I think I was drawn to both these watches by their bands. I love the bands. I don’t think the green would be to limiting from a wardrobe prospective. And I don’t think the large rectangular watch on the right would be too big. I’m at a loss.

I also revisited my last watch post where you guys suggested other ideas. To recap the favorites:

Tokyo Watches. (with a personal favorite here)
Guitar watch.

So hrm. What do you think?

I LOVE that “remember you will die” creepy watch. I’m seriously considering buying it. My current watch collection is http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/detail.asp?Country=COA&Language=English&ModelNumber=BM8290-05E
I appreciate Eco-Drives because they never need a battery change or winding, and I despise metal link bands (catches my arm hair and makes me wince periodically through the day).

Out of the two “winners” though, I’d go for the Nixon. Not that the Starck is bad in any determinable way…I just like the Nixon’s style better.

    I like the green one.

I wear one watch. And in my orienteering “I love maps & geography” style, it has a GPS in it.

I like that Nixon watch so much, I might buy it myself… if you don’t, of course :-)

    Also: DANG!! Watches are expensive!!

I’ve never been a watch person myself. If I’m at work, I’ve got the time on the computer. And if I’m not at work, I don’t really care what time it is.
