There’s gotta be something better they could do with their time.

“Scientists attempt to create the most annoying song ever.”

Attempt?!? No. They did it.

I actually had to turn my PC volume down at the lyric “Shake’n’bake” because it was THAT annoying.

This has been in my iTunes since I first heard it. What a great song.

And not most annoying, most unwanted… they just did market research into what people like and don’t like and made two songs, one with the likable things and one with the unlikable things.

The unlikable is way better! This is a great song.

I’m almost halfway through it, and it’s fantastic! Kinda like Spike Jones. The kids are a bit annoying, but I love the opera rap. It’s hysterical. Needs cowbell though.

The most annoying part is definitely the singing kids, but even more annoying is that I find myself singing along to their Walmart jingles.

Doesn’t everybody sing along to Walmart jingles?

Probably. I was singing the Doublemint Gum song the other day. That song rocks.

    Impressions half-way through:

    1. Opera with a horse clip-clop behind it is pretty cool.

    2. I think I know what traffic jams sound like in Glasgow.

    3. I realize I do almost all my shopping…at Walmart!

    4. My daughter loves the kids chorus. And I have to give these guys props for covering so many holidays.

Impression at the end: this is not a song. A song does not last more than 21 minutes. I can’t think of the correct term for what this is, but “song” is much to paltry for such a feat.

Yes it does. Were you singing the melody? Cause if you want you can sing the harmony and I’ll sing the melody. It’s even better in two-part.

I would be hurt (being a flutist and all), but I tend to agree.

Also, kids singing about Ramadan = awesome.

They did this with paintings too. What was interesting about that was almost all countries wanted similar things for the most wanted painting except Holland. Holland wanted modern abstract art, and all other countries wanted an outdoor classic looking scene.

There was a This American Life interview with the guys who do this (episode 88). I just listened to it a few days ago.
