This Watch Smells of Punctuality

Friends! I got my new watch! I decided to go with a Fossil S+ark watch and I’m quite pleased with the result.

It’s got some weird features. Firstly, the strap has some serious uniqueness about it. It unlatches itself in a funky manner and remains kind of engaged so you can slip it off your wrist over your hand but you never have to disengage or adjust the strap length. The dial for setting the watch is UNDER the strap in its own little alcove. This results in sleek edges not marred by buttons or adjustment knobs.

The minimalistic copper colored face is numberless and bordered on three sides by clear glass. It looks really sharp. I am totally excited.

I have to say, while the WATCH is quite spiffy, YOU, my friend, are no hand model. The angle is so unnatural, the fingers splayed as if to say “it hurts wearing this”. I would have liked somewhat of a more classic pose, perhaps of the selectroclash vintage .

I thought it was the “Oh man, this carpet feels soft!” pose.
