    I’ll never forget “fission division” from high school biology class; it’s just stupid enough to stick in your mind forever. And fusion has enough other uses in the English language, so yes.

    The difference is, we won’t have fusion power plants available until 2050, with the first Plymouth Arcologies.

    Fusion: a style of restaurant cuisine that is overpriced, has small portions, and generally isn’t that good.

    Fission: a generally boring activity taken up by old men involving rods, reels, line, and lures.
