I mean, clearly they just slice pineapples up but, the slices are the perfect size for the can.
Do they just grow small long pineapples? Special for cans? It’s just too perfect.

I think they just have a size minimum for the pineapples, and they only use ones big enough for the standard pineapple corer/slicer machine. I wonder how much waste pineapple there is from the bigger ones.
All the waste probably goes into the “crushed pineapple” cans.
Or they use the leftovers as fertilizer for pineapple trees, in a sort of strange “soylent green” turn of events.
