The problem with regularly doing fun things like rock climbing or Kung Fu is that they tend to become the norm. They don’t lose their fun factor, but they do lose some novelty. Granted both climbing and Kung Fu are continuously changing and re-challenge… but the basics are the same.
I think the intention of Fun Club should be to introduce novel fun to the group.
And once they become the norm, everything else pales in comparison
yeah. Do you feel this happened to you with kite boarding?
Excuse me, but does this mean we can’t do dance dance anymore since we have done it more than once?
oh and I think we should paint pottery, play ultimate Frisbee, learn how to sail, and go skydiving.
Dance Dance is still novel. I am game for pottery, frisbee, and sailing.
I am not a big skydiving fan, but I could be the designated driver!
phew. ok. I might just be talking some big game with ideas of sky diving though.
Well, there’s always something new to try. I think that’s the key. Once there’s nothing new or you hit a plateau, there’s no point continuing
If you weren’t just talking big game, I would be down for some skydiving.
I’ve been skydiving before, and I’d do it again. It was that awesome.
I used ta do a little but a little wouldn’t do, so the little got mo’ and mo’. I just keep tryin’ ta get a little better, said a little better than befo’.
