The Ultimate PB&J

Jesse tells us of the ultimate PB&J. Take it away Jesse!

Some say it was for the glory… others, the ridiculousness of the challenge. Never before had something of this magnitude been completed in so daring a fashion! At times, it was almost CERTAIN that all would be lost. It couldn’t hold together, it shouldn’t! God did not intend such creations! Only a maniac…

My PB&J was ~63.5mm (2.5”) tall! Realize, my bread slices were compressed under the serious load and even at max only measured about 12mm (0.5”). That means we’re talking AT LEAST 38mm (1.5”) of guts, likely more. 38mm (1.5”) may not seem like a lot, but when you’re trying to get jelly not to burst out EVERYWHERE, you need to take some serious considerations; like building a super sound retaining wall of peanut butter deliciousness, the likes of which two tasty slices of harvest multi-grain have never held!

I don’t know if it constituted a pool. Perhaps a hot tub of jelly. Yes. There was also a peanut butter base (to make sure there was no bleed-through).

I don’t get it, peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches…are they actually as nice as you have us believe?
    (NB: I’ve never tried one!)
