I need ideas.

My uncle got me a sick ‘Paper Airplane a Day’ Calendar. the problem is… it’s February… and I have about 25 paper airplanes on my shelves (weekends are one plane, not two). I’m running out of space fast.

One more week of this and I will no longer have places to put airplanes. I was thinking about stringing them up, but then people couldn’t try them out. Maybe some shallow shelving?

I’m not sure.

Ideas?

Too many paper airplanes? That’s like “too much gold bullion” or “too many concubines.”

Seriously, I’d probably start hiding them. Behind books, in filing cabinets… that way it becomes a fun thing for all of your co-workers as well. Who gets to find today’s airplane?!

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SHARE THEM!?!?!?!?! You should throw the paperairplanes only once then destroy them! That way when you ask someone, “hey remember that airplane I made, the Crimson Rockket?” And they start to answer you can shout in their face really loud “NO YOU DON’T CAUSE I DESTROYED IT AFTER I THREW IT ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!”
Perhaps throw the paper airplane then throw it a second time….INTO A FIRE!!! What better way to insure that you, and only you would gain pleasure from a gif from your uncle.

Make a paper airplane mobile, but make sure you can still take them off and throw them.

I agree with Kurt, kinda. I was thinking the airplanes should need to pass a gauntlet to be worthy to be your shelf AT ALL! One test would be if it can fly through a fire. If the airplane can’t fly through the fire, its fate is at least pretty to watch. (Be sure to use wet wood when making the fire so the hissing of escaping moisture will sound like passengers screaming in horror at the inferno)

Another test is finding out which ones the ladies think are the sexiest paper airplanes. You should post a picture of one paper airplane on this website, every hour for a month and poll the ladies to see which one they find most wicked awesome. LONG LIVE 720!!!!

I’ve got one of these calendars as well. I made a USS Intrepid out of a D size piece of paper and traced out all the locations for the planes.

My suggestion is do like those entomologists and pin the planes to your cube walls. That way if someone wants to try one, they just pull the pin and toss.

You carefully attach fine threads and hang them by thumb tacks from your kitchen ceiling. A 10 x 12 kitchen ceiling should hold at least 120 aircraft when they are parked “cheek to cheek”. Don’t have a stove fire!!
