I am writing this on a plane flying from Hartford to Indianapolis. I am all sorts of uncomfortable at the moment. Ever notice that it’s near impossible to achieve perfect temperature balance on a plane? Right now the atmosphere is grossly hot. I’ve got the fans on full, but all that seems to have done is make it hot and dry. This particular Northwest flight is rather nasty. The seats, at first glance, appear soft and cushiony, but are, in fact, rather disproportionate and just don’t feel right.
The other day Kurt asked me to MSPaint an image of my view inside the plane. Now, normally I resist the urge to do MSPaint on any plane; mainly because I don’t have a mouse. Instead I have to use that little button cursor. It’s horribly inaccurate. But, I figured I might as well throw one together for the sake of 720. So here it is. Enjoy!
That’s a great picture! Especially without a mouse! I’d be psyched if could do that good of a painting with a mouse!
Oh man you’re lucky. Every single time I’m on a plane the dick in front of me reclines his seat. I’m 6’2″, and I just don’t quite fit in airplane seats to begin with, I really don’t need that damn seat crushing my knees further.
I would tell you my preferred name for the little “button cursor” but it is rated nc-17
WOW – that’s really impressive with no mouse! I love the style – it’s a little more impressionistic. Do they seat you in first or “business” class?
Very cool drawing.
I like the balding man sitting in front of you to the right.
