Actually, not just Irene. All of us do.
I think my favorites are the periodic table of elements and the ATP molecular structure. So hardcore!
Of course, if I were to get one, I’d have to get THIS.
What kind of career oriented tattoo would you get?
I DO need a new tattoo!! My favorites are the atom and the molecular structure of ATP.
Interestly, I was just talking about this with some coworkers the other day. I like the idea of a scientifically inspired tattoo..however, I want to encompass my other love as well. What I’d really like is some kind of DNA double helix either incorporated with or in the shape of a treble clef. The problem is that I’m a pretty crude artist and can’t seem to come up with a good design.
Anyone up for the challenge? I can’t make any guarantees of course, but if someone came up with a design I really liked I’d definitely consider tattooing it on myself.
My sister has the symbol pi, she was a math major. Soooo nerdy.
more like… sooo awesome.
The ATP molecular structure one is absurdly Hot.
I like the idea of the double helix treble clef. I’ll give it a go in MSPaint. No promises though… it sounds tricky.
Unfortunately, computer programming doesn’t really have anything cool and tattoo-worthy
How about an “E-Stop” button Mike D? Put it on your arm so when someone wants you to stop they just sock you there repeatedly until you stop.
Jen saw someone with a Fourier Transform tattooed on their forearm.
Evan (won’t put his last name here) from WPI had the fundamental theorem of calculus tattooed on his arm. He also had a MOSFET chip tattooed on his shoulder.
I like the schematic of an operational amplifier, myself.
Oh, come on. I’m sure we could find a way to tattoo a Turing machine, or, ooh! Even better! A UML diagram! of something that cleverly describes some other love or hobby. Come on, open up Visio (or Rose if you’re super lucky) and get cracking!
