Also: Just 10 more days until daylight savings time! This is the best bill that the government has passed in the past 10 years.

Not to nitpick, but it is daylight saving time.

Dangit!!! I did not get ANY kitesurfing in the month of February. The only month so far, since moving to Cape Cod full time, that I was not able to go kiteboarding. Blast!

Adam have you read “Seize the Daylight,” a book that discusses the history of Daylight Saving?

I believe they address the fact that tons o’ people refer to it as daylight savingS time and I seem to recall the author mentioning that both ‘daylight saving’ and ‘daylight savings’ should be considered acceptable because people have adopted the new phrase into their vernacular.

I can’t confirm this, I might be inventing this memory in my brain.

Your comment went so far over my head, my first thought was “No it isn’t, DST doesn’t begin until the 11th.” I even looked at my calendar.

Now that I get it, I appreciate the tip.

I have not read that book, but it sounds like it is right up my alley. But yes, I think it is generally accepted whether or not it is correct.
