I try to bring it as much as I can…cheaper and probably healthier in the long run. If I had to guesstimate, I’d say I bring it 70% of the time, buy it 30% of the time.

I work at home, so I probably don’t count in this survey.

I bring it from home unless I have early morning meetings or other shenanigans… like forgetting to go grocery shopping in the first place.
So probably bring about 80% of the time.

There isn’t really enough Meat in the vending machines at work to satiate my lust for animal blood. So i’m around 75% bringing/25% bought. I dont’ bring out of health or cheap though…i bring it cause I’m lazy and its sitting right in front of my face when I wake up in the morning. sometimes I bring in a healthy spinach salad with Steak, other times it 2 dozen cookies.

Until about 6 months ago, I was a buyer – the sandwich bar at work couldn’t be beat. However, a financial revelation on how much I was spending per month on lunch has led me to transform into a bringer 4 days out of 5 per week. Fridays I either go out for lunch or buy.

I’m on the same schedule. I bring 4 days a week (usually leftovers) and eat out one day, typically Friday. It saves a lot of money, plus, I like to cook so I usually cook way more food that I need just for the leftovers.

We get subsidised sandwiches at work for 20p, however, they are pretty crappy and don’t fill me up so I then go into town and buy another sandwich or go to KFC/Subway/the Cornish pastie shop.

I also do this, for the most part. Usually Mondays I will eat out, the rest of the week, bring food.

I usually do whatevers most convinent. If we have leftovers then I bring. Otherwise I buy. I’ve found buying a sandwhich from our cafateria is no more expensive than buying the supplies myself anyway, so why bother? Usually I end up going out to a nicer place for lunch once or twice a week, mainly so Tom and I can have lunch together.

I started out bringing my lunch, and then I got busy/lazy, and I started buying. And then when I was a nomad for 2 months, I lived without a kitchen, and that period pretty much moved me over to buy all the time.

However, the cafeteria I have at Company F is really good. I can say that I eat healthy.

However, last night, UUIG’s mom gave me leftovers, so if this trend continues, I may be bringing more and more, a bonus being I didn’t actually pay for it at all.

99.99% of the time I bring. I have bought a lunch once in the past two years of working.
