    I like the Alt + F4 shortcut, but the one I use the most is Ctrl + s, the writer’s friend.

    windows+m will perform the same thing (minimize :-) )

    but the best is windows + R for the run window.

    Alt-Spacebar gives you the little window menu that you normally get by clicking your upper-left program icon.

    This way you can minimize, maximize, restore and move from the keyboard, which is crucial if you’re going to be a super nerd like me.

    ‘Alt – F’ then ‘M’ to rename files. I’m kinda weird about all my filenames needing to be in the same format.

    I’m a fan of CTRL+W to close windows. Helps a lot in tabbed browsing.

    windows-pause/break -> leet way to get to dydtem properties
    or ctrl-shift-esc -> leet way to go to task manager

    ctrl+shft+z is most excellent for excel macros, since it can be done with one clustered paw
