Travel & Chili

Travel on the Sunday after Thanksgiving wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. Traffic, both in and out of the airport, was minimal until Houston.

I just ate some Chili.

If chili were to be equated to cultural movements, tonight’s Chili would probably be Rococo. Graceful, light, and elaborate.

The chili sounds good. Chili that is too heavy leaves my stomach a bit unhappy.

I am envious of your smooth travelling….yesterday it took 8 hours for my brother, cousin and I to drive from north of Seattle to Spokane (approx. 300 miles). One hour of this was not actually driving (stops to put chains on/take chains off – gotta love WA DOT requiring chains on the pass, and a stop for lunch). But a 7 hour drive, for 300 miles….that’s about 43 mph average speed…..on a highway with a speed limit of 70 mph.
