This is the album cover:

TV on the Radio

A birdsnest? LAME.

This week’s contest is for you to design a better album cover. The name is amazing… but the art is terrible.

For extra credit, include some sort of visual credit to the song title: snakes and martyrs

THE RULES:
All art must be done soley in MSPaint (or mac equivilent). All entries must be e-mailed to me by Thursday September 28th at 5:00pm EST. My e-mail addy is: MIKEDIDONATO AT GMAIL DOT COM

You can use the internet to research ideas, but please do not copy and paste from anyone elses drawings. We want the art to be mikedidonato.com originals.

Good luck team!

That birdnest was totally on cookie mountain.

12 men died to retrieve it.

    This is an GOOD one.
On the one hand stick figures waving their arms in the air upon return to a literal COOKIE mountain (I’m going to DREAM about this) is intriguing, but then the more likely possibility of drawing what might actually resemble a real album cover for real music (that didn’t contain children’s singalongs, as a smiling sitck figure portrait may imply) is a good challenge. I may include artist and album title on my cover, as with most covers. I’ll think about it.

It’s on till the break of OOHHHH wait Mike D’s goin to Texas I win either way!

Ok, I’m with Sander on that mountain of cookies idea. I know less than nothing about MS Paint, but I look forward to seeing what you others come up with.
Good luck putting “Snakes and Martyrs” with Cookie Mountain.

The great thing about MS Paint is that it’s just about the easiest program to use in the world. Anybody can do it. Getting as good as Mike D. takes years of training, but he’s not using much more than the basics.

I give up. Put a couple hours into it and my brilliant husband deleted it. :(

Yeah, when do we get to see the winners? And when are you going to offer a challenge easy enough for me to try?
