The Fitness is Back

After nearly a month of laziness, the mike d fitness routine is back. Last night I ran for a good forty minutes and followed that with some weight lifting in the House of Rock basement. I was energized and feeling great. There was also some excellent cookery going on which I will detail in a feature section soon.

It was great. This morning I’m feeling a little tightness in the calves from the hills, but otherwise I feel pretty lively.

I suspect much of the rest of today will be spent solving some China problems pre-China. busy busy!

    HoR basement? Dude you’re hardcore. You’re like Rocky, only with less money.
    Though I guess it doesn’t hurt to be beefed up down there for when whatever’s living in that crawlspace grows a taste for human flesh.

    I did two races this week (a sprint tri and 5K) and I think I’m declaring my racing summer over. I’m all about relaxing the rest of the summer and not doing any 6 mile runs.

    Good luck with the running, you should sign up for a 10K or something, I love having the race motivation.

    I think the HoR basement breeds some sort of mold that, when spores inhaled, will give you superstrength. Too bad you moved out.
