Congratulations to all sorts of people for correctly identifying the last skyline as Tulsa and the satellite image as Honolulu. And Roland is on a roll. Once again he correctly guessed the continent and planet of the images. That guy is on fire.
So let’s start round six.
WARNING: the answer may be in the comments
First, the skyline.
And… the satellite.
Your task:
1) identify the skyline image
2) determine if the satellite image is of the same location
3) if not, identify the satellite location
I have a guess, though I’ve never been to Texas…
Is this looking West on I90 in Houston, TX? Around, uh, Exit 770?
The satellite is the same — the building in the middle there (vaguely triangular with a circle on top) is the Hyatt-Regency Houston.
Thats Downtown Houston! Its I-10 West (which is referred to as I-90 in maps for that stretch of highway) heading into downtown, before the 59N and S exit. And the satellite image is also of downtown Houston, the area around Sam Houston Park.
Oh and for the win I drove down that exact bit of the freeway this morning. booya!
Houston/yes/Houston
Were you being irradiated or just under some scary yellow lights?
What a nasty picture of my fair city!
Normally, the sky is blue and Mars in Total Recall…
I submit as evidence this photograph from my own collection.
Hey dummy. The competition was still going on! Now I’m not even going to submit an answer cause you ruined my monday. I look forward to playing the game and seeing what cities people suggest, but you ruined christmas!
Well they’re both definitely in the Milky Way again, and I’m 80% sure they’re both on Earth.
The Skyline is Houston, Texas
The satellite is same
There were plenty of answers before i railed upon the lack of photographic integrity at work here.
I ruined nothing!
YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!!!
