PS – I can accept the lack of Mediterranean islands owned by Spain and France, but you’re missing Malta! (OK, I guess it was probably too small to draw… same as Luxembourg and Andorra)

oooh. good call with Luxeumbourg and Andorra and the islands of adventure.

I’ll fix it in the final world map “where have you been” event.

Shouldn’t #5 reflect the “United Kingdom”, due to the presence of Scotland?

Damnit, I wrote a long reply and then IE messed up.
The island with England, Scotland, and Wales is Great Britain. The entire country’s official name is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. If Mike D was ignoring NI, then #5 should at least be Great Britain, but yeah, the correct answer for #5 is the UK, and definitely not England.

This would all be less confusing if we weren’t the UK at the UN, GB at the Olympics, and England/Wales/Scotland/NI at international football tournaments.

    1) Don’t forget about Lichtenstein, Monaco, San Marino (Carmen Sandiego destination!), and Vatican City? It looks like you have a little spot for Lichtenstein, but no label for it. I haven’t been to Malta, but I have been to those four… in 1985.

    2) It looks like the Ukraine went and ate Slovakia. (No disrespect to the little countries, but this omission is probably the most significant).

    3) If Montenegro should be paired with another country, it would be Serbia, as those two countries have a little union thing going (they’ll be competing together in the World Cup next month).

    Whoa… I don’t know how I missed this one earlier….

Hungary is omitted, too. (I thought Austria looked a little funky).

shame on you Mike D, you missed out a small country in the France/Spain region, it is called Andorra

And the only reason I know this, as I was a Priest in a Play called Andorra, set in Andorra at the time of World War II

Roland, you beat me to it!

The list grows to 9 countries…

Is the independence vote effective immediately? There’s going to be World Cup team in a few weeks called “Serbia and Montenegro” and I’m curious as if that will change (I’m guessing not).

I got 17. I’ve been playing world geography games online, but they gave me the names, so I did better on them. Europe is way easier than Africa.
