Carpools and Charts

I started carpooling with co-worker Bill today. This is extremely exciting because I love saving money on gasoline.

Also, Sander walked into my cubical yesterday and drew a chart on my white board. It looks something like this:

it\'s true

I think my biggest problem with carpooling would be music issues. Whether I would subject the carpoolee to music with which I am unsure they are friendly, or vice versa.

Sander’s last name is rather close to “Twix”. Could this be his issue?

    Finally, where’s my Anonymous Advice?

Anon. Advice will not be posted today. If you’re so eager to have it, ask an advice question! You can do so here:

If you are subtley pointing out that few have the reliability of Defy McQuaid, I can only agree. Not even I post with such flawless regularity. BUT, that is why S.mcquaid has his name on the Rock Awards plaque.

Once we have more questions and our anonymous writer finishes his or her graduation requirements, things will hopefully move forward with more regularity.

I disagree with your logic that finishing graduation requirements makes people more reliable.

Jon Abad doesn’t have “free time”.

Am I on the Rock Awards plaque for visiting the most states?

I’m just curious what a “day of mikedidonato.com accolades” are.

Maybe I didn’t want to win after all….

actually, I don’t really know what a “day of mikedidonato.com accolades” will entail.

I’ll come up with something I’m sure.

The great thing about that chart is I have no idea what it means. Shouldn’t Mike D and Sander just be points on the graph, and not lines? I mean, it’s not like either of you covers an entire range of heights and weights.

I think I probably meant for it to be a line graph of progress through life. That is to say, my mother’s C-section required a chainsaw.

Their weight vs. heights are functions, hence the graph.

I think it means that it shows mike and sanders heights if they were to shrink or grow. Like if i were to take out 2″ of Sander’s shins, his weight woudl decrease.

    That works too.
Don’t overanalyze this, everyone: It’s just a doodle I put up on his whiteboard because I was bored at work, and don’t really understand math.

I really like this explanation. Especially because even if Sander were to disappear completely, there would still be a weight to where he previously stood.

Also, if Mike D were reduced in height enough (say, just a head), he would become weightless. This is probably how Jambi the Genie worked in PeeWee’s Playhouse.

Not just weightless, but he would weigh negative weight. A non-existent Mike D is less dense than air.
