Firebird adds some spice to hot venue – The Boston Globe

The most interesting piece was Ian Clark’s ”Zoom Tube” for solo flute, a jazzy tune using extended techniques for the instrument (and flutist, who sings along, and uses her tongue to create a rhythm track as well). Alicia DiDonato, whose scarlet velvet top and black leather pants turned heads, gave it a drop-dead performance, fully a match for barbecued brisket

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

WOW. Alicia’s hottness was reviewed in the globe. If that doesn’t say celebrity I don’t know what does. Rock on.

HEYYYYYY! Mike, Tree, Kurt — thanks so much for coming to the show! I’m psyched about the review and psyched about how much you guys liked the performance. FYI, the firebird site is, ahem, wrong — our next date is May 9 in Boston. Not the same program, but we rock no matter what!
