SUBWOOFER.

We just had a company meeting during which a short video clip was played that highlighted some of the exciting moments of 2005. The soundtrack consisted of Eminem, Smash Mouth, and The Black Eyed Peas. and the subwoofer was pumping so hard that the shaking was disrupting the video.

talk about intense!

This made me start thinking about what I would do if I ever own/run a company. I think subwoofer pumping (though perhaps with a different music choice) would be right up there with unannounced pancake days and monthly cupcake battles in the test area.

Also, our manufacturing department could use a climbing wall. two and a half stories of overhang? I think yes.

I totally called that rock wall idea after like 2 days working at Ttool, it just screams to have holds and plywood bolted to it.
That video at work was actually pretty lame, in that less than…100% of it was occupied by funny Darko expressions.

“monthly cupcake battles in the test area”

Hey, why single out the test area? Is it especially suited for cupcake battles in your company? Or do you have something against the testers?

the Test area is particularly good because it has two raised mezanines surrounding it. So we could have arial attacks and forts.

Also, Sander works in test and I think I’d enjoy pelting him with cupcakes.

You need hard floors, and everyone will traverse the office via skateboard. And every wall adjacent to a skateboard path should have a quarter pipe transition on it.

Oh, and did I mention a resident lounge band? I think so.

    wow. that’s good.

that’s very good. We could have the band play in the lobby. We could call them the Lobbyists.
