Tomorrow I start Advanced Thermodynamics.
While I’m excited to be continuing my academic quest, it’s a bummer to lose my Thursday nights. It amazes me that Shamus did two classes a week. How could he handle the academic onslaught? I wouldn’t really even consider mine an onslaught. UNewHaven is hardly RPI or WPI. Oh TimBaird, how impressed I am with the fact that you continue to rock Norty on a regular basis.
the good news is I got an A in Advanced engineering mathematics.
12 classes.
1 down.
11 classes, 3.6 years, $17,000 to go.
by the way, those animal crackers were delicious. Way to go Nabisco!
How come you are doing all these classes, is it kind of like a post-graduate course? My sister is doing a CIPD course (some Human Resources thing) as she graduated from Uni in Business about 3 years ago, it’s a 2 year long course.
It’s weird she finished Uni ages ago and I haven’t even begun! Only got to wait until September now though
Last spring I did 2 courses (3 nights a week) while doing FIRST and work. But there was a price to pay.
I practically had a nervous breakdown, almost went broke, broke up with my gf of 3 years, ended up punting one course, skipped the FE exam. Keep that in mind.
I don’t even have one degree yet! go me!
Team NoDegree up in here.
Well, I’m on the team for another 29 hours.
I’m going for a graduate degree in Mechanical engineering. hence the courses.
After that I’ll probably have to take more classes for a business degree. Sigh. Education lasts forever!
You don’t have a degree Jon Abad? I’m interested in this as I wish to study Information Systems I think that is similar to what you do (in my head). How did you come to be in your current job/position?
JonAbad’s DNA is actually a Triple Helix.
go team NoDegree!
He has most of a degree…
Nope. I will probably have one this year. It will say Management Information Systems on it.
As for my “current job/position”, its freelance web monkey. So it just kinda happened. Its something to do while I’m seeking full-time employment.
Dude. Spring 08. MBA. Bentley.
Be there. I most likely will be, assuming my current plans carry through and wrap up smoothly.
