Everyone did a really good job on this batch of MSPaint images. Even though there were some MSPaintings that remained scoreless, I laughed at every single one upon receiving it in my inbox. So don’t feel discouraged if you didn’t place in this round, keep MSPainting!

    Congrats Jesse!

Now that you have taken the title of Supreme MSPaint Champ from me, you should sell me your A4 for a ridiculously cheap price! It’s a fair deal…

For the sceptics out there, my image was, in fact, composed entirely in MSPaint using the square tool. Also, I appreciated your comment, Patrick, about using someone else’s poetry on my own composition. Frankly, I can’t think of why I didn’t htink to write my own, other than being a big fan of Wiliam Carlos Williams.
I’d like to know where everyone pull this talent from in this round, because I’m wicked impressed with everything that was submitted.

Messe? You know that actually makes sense. That kid takes these competitions WAY too seriously.
Speaking of which, here in Alabama on my drive to work is a radio tower or whatever, which is composed of milk-crate sections of alternating red and white color, that looks EXACTLY like what Jesse drew for his microwave/jaguar submission. I almost bought a camera just to show everybody.

Though I still suspect some level of tracing went on here, that Flinstones bottle is way too good. If I’m wrong, way to go man.

See you all in a few days, I hope.

Jesse, are you familiar with John Steuart Curry? Because as soon as I saw yours, I thought of his most famous painting that hangs in the Kansas State Capitol. http://www.kshs.org/places/capitol/graphics/capitol_mural.jpg

Volcano = tornado and prairie fire (all natural disasters)
T-Rex = Union soldiers (carnivores higher on the food chain, win the war)
Brontosaurus = Confederate soldiers (herbivores lose the war)
Gigantic Evil Clown = John Brown (pretty much the exact same thing)
Pie = shotgun (weapon of choice by each man)
Stegosaurus = bible (um… of course!)

Sander, the radio tower picture wasn’t Jesse’s picture. It was Joe Havelicks. Jesse did not participate in round one.

As a non-contributor, I was truly inspired by the creativity and the wealth of artisitic talent displayed by those who shared their clowns with the world. Really, a fantastic job by all of you.

PS. Jill, I especially liked yours.
