the deadline for the: gigantic evil clown attacking either a single dinosaur or a colony of dinosaurs MSPaint contest is tonight at midnight. So make sure to submit your entry.
We have great participation and every single one I’ve received so far has impressed me on some level.
e-mail submissions to: mikedidonato AT gmail DOT com
How many entries so far?
Eleven so far, including my own. Interestingly enough, half are new MSPaint contributors who didn’t participate in round one.
The anticipation is killing me, I can’t wait to see em. Abad, did you enter this time? You better…
I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see everybody’s. Honestly, this is going to be the highlight of my workday tomorrow.
Me too. I’ve pretty much decided that, when it comes to artistic talent, I’m somewhat deprived. So I had to take another approach.
You didn’t get naked, did you?
I mean, typically, more skin wins, but, come on. This is MS Paint.
There is no nudity in the submission.
I’m not commenting on my state of dress or undress during its production.
Dinosaurs don’t generally wear clothes, I don’t think. It depends though, because on that show Dinosaurs they wore clothes.
man, this has been a great week for looking forward to things on blogs!
i can’t wait for the MS paint! i’m really proud of mine this time around, and if everyone’s is as impressive as you say they are, tomorrow should be a treat.
Me too patrick. I’m hoping my painting wins. And I’ll give a candy bar to whoever can guess which one is mine!
Unlike Kurt, I actually entered, and unlike kurt, I’m not giving out candy bars. I think mine will be easy to guess.
I do know I have a new level of respect for mspaint guernica.
yes Kurt, I haven’t received your submission yet. I suspect that I’ll get it tonight. otherwise I think you owe ben a candy bar for his seeing through your plan.
I like heath bars the best. Mmm, toffee.
I think that if you knew which one mine was in Round #1, you’ll know which one is mine in Round #2.
I have a question about the Mike D blog. All of the posts (and a majority of the comments) are during normal working hours. You never see any posts from evenings or weekends. How much time do you spend blogging at work vs. home?
My posting schedule is completely off yours (except for the comment boxes. somehow, I can justify commenting at work, but not yet blogging.)
I usually comment whenever I have time. I haven’t had time in the past month or two, due to marriage and moving.
Patrick, I usually do a post everyday before I start work. And if I do a second post it’s usually in the last or first few minutes of my lunch. (I work 8am-5pm). Occasionally I’ll fire off a post before I leave for work in the morning.
I pride myself in my MSPaint speed, so if there are pictures, they are usually add no more than 5 minutes to a post time.
Except for Guernica, which took 6-8 full lunch hours.
As for comments? they are sporatic. Whenever I have a few free minutes I’ll respond to a comment.
While you are all slogging away, I shall try to make the most of my free time by doing an MS Paint thing. Don’t hold me too it. My skills are, shall we say, limited
I have submitted an entry, it is rubbish. But oh well. It’s the taking part that counts, not the wining!
Quote MIKE D: ‘if I meet a librarian named Marian, I’m quitting my job, shipping my saxophone to Indiana, and starting a marching band. ‘
Did I ever tell you I worked at my schools library, hence a librarian?
I am bored and searching your site, lol.
See you in Indiana!
I comment at work, usually while I wait for my current project to compile. Due to the shite equipment they give me, this usually gives me enough time to comment on a couple of sites and catch up o n news.
I post in the morning usually, after taking care of morning issues and before i dig in to the days work, usually while i enjoy morning coffee.
Even though the time-stamp for this comment is wrong, it’s technically Friday. I was hoping to see some MSPaints before bed.
No. I didn’t. Like I announced earlier, the theme didn’t inspire me.
Alas, usually the posts post between 6-8am on Friday. This is so I can include any MSPaint submissions that come in between my bed time and the deadline.
