You know, I had a very delicious apple yesterday – it was a macintosh, and it had just the right amount of apple flavor, and was really crispy and not mealy. It was so good I told ryan, but he wasn’t very enthusiastic

Ruth, I appreciate your food enthusiasm. Don’t let Ryan rain on your consumption joys. Be strong Ruth. Be strong, and sing the praises of your foodstuffs.

Even if you insist on eating foodstuffs that never could sing praises of their own.

Apples are in season now, and apples are by far the best fruit. Especially those super sweet Red Delicious.

Apples are even better when mashed into delicious juice and fermented. But that’s just me.

I just had some raspberry sherbet, and it was pretty awesome, but not as awesome as lemon sherbet. Did you get your arm checked out yet?

I had an apple this morning, too. It’s was a gala, which is, I think, my favorite. Was your apple a Washington apple?

After driving back from a backpacking trip in north-central Washington a few weeks ago, I drove through prime Washington apple country, and all of the migrant workers were busy picking apples, loading them into wooden bins, which are then trucked around. Lots and lots of apples. I was so tempted to park my car, hop out, and start picking them myself.

On another note: did you see the static shock article I linked a few posts ago? it made me think of Rayden being either AC or DC.

And another note: would you guys be interested in an Oregon Trail competition?

I hate Granny Smith apples. Way too bitter.

    Alicia, your subtlety amazes me.

What kind of apple was it?

I haven’t enjoyed an apple, a LOT, in years. I’m jealous.

Was it one of the apples from Saturday? One that I bought in blood?

Patrick, (and mike D) an Oregon trail competition sounds fan-freakin-tastic. Especially if we play oregon trail 2 deluxe which you can get online for free (although hunting is pretty sketchy since now our computers are way too fast for that version)

So long as it’s not Amazon Trail I’m down. I hate Amazon Trail soooo much.

It was a honeycrisp apple! So good.

And yes, Shaun paid for this apple with his own blood.
